Na Mu La Cello Masterclass
Professor Mu-la Na, graduated from The Central Conservatory of Music, and started her cello teaching career at that institution. She is a frequent adjudicator at national cello competitions in China. Prof. Na has performed concerts in China, the US, Canada, Japan, France, the Philippines, Switzerland, and Hong Kong. A respected pedagogue, her students have won numerous awards at international cello competitions both in China and internationally, including the First Prize at the 4th Tchaikovsky International Youth Cello Competition and the First Prize at the Davidov International Cello Competition in 2006. Her guest teaching includes: Morning Side Music Bridge Program, hosted by Mount Royal College in Canada, since 1997; and Beijing Foren Music College. Prof. Na is a Member of the Standing Committee and General Secretary of the China Cello Association. Prof. Na is currently the Director of the Cello Department as well as Professor and Post-graduate supervisor at the Music School Attached at The Central Conservatory in Beijing, China. She conducts a cello masterclass with Conservatory students.
